It was my first time here, and even though I had to wait around 20 minutes, it was absolutely worth it. I ordered the nasi lemak and it was delicious—rich, flavourful, and served in a very generous portion. The food overall was great, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I’m definitely coming back, and I’ll be bringing my family and friends next time.

Crispy assam fish nasi lemak + nasi lemak kukus with juicy chicken drumsticks. The crunch, the juiciness, the flavors — all so good without feeling heavy. And the best part? This gem is hidden inside a church

Wonderful and very authentic Malaysian, especially East Malaysian - Sarawak dishes. In fact one of the best in Melbourne. Always maintain the standard

The roti banjir aka prata with chicken curry sauce is mind blowing. If you want your mind blown by a dish then you must visit this place. The other dishes from kolo mee to nasi kerabu are awesome too. Toilets, parking and easy atmosphere abound. The church feels very welcoming too. All round great.

Tucked away in a church and school building, this is a very popular eatery judging by the number of sit in diners before the official opening time of 11am! This is our first time attracted by the Facebook re the limited edition Nasi Lemak lamb shank! They serve mainly Malaysian street food, (generally with spicy twangs to the dishes). I like my curry noodle. However, the friendly owner agreed with us on the lamb shank Nasi Lemak needing more fine tuning. They sell popular Malaysian deserts and snacks like Taufu fa, baked pork buns, curry puff, pandan cakes, etc! There are lots of parking being a weekday. We will be back again to try their other offerings!

The nasi kerabu is the highlight and the best. We are Terry’s regular customer and have tried quite a few items on their menu. Love the kaya served on thick toast as it is not too sweet. We liked everything that we have ordered so far. It is best to get there before noon as it can get very busy. I was given the wrong order for my take away during my first visit and Terry happily asked me to collect my nasi kerabu without charging me (even though I offered to pay for it).
